Fr. O'Konsky
Fr. O'Konsky is the long-time moderator of the Fordham Prep Aquatics program. Fr. O'Konsky's ability
to recruit, keep tabs on the students in the building, and serve as the spiritual backbone of the team has cemented his place
in the hearts of the swimmers who have passed through the halls of the Prep.
Dominick Galimi
Dom is a former four-year letter winner and team captain on the Fordham Prep swim team.
Dom began coaching the Prep in 1997 as Head Coach. He graduated from the Prep in 1992 and moved on to Lehigh
University. While at Lehigh he competed at the Division I level for the Lehigh swim team
Gregory Lau
Greg is a 1999 graduate from the Prep and graduated from Loyola College in Maryland.
He was a four year varsity letterman and senior captain at Fordham Preparatory. He went on to compete for the Loyola
College Swimming Team. Greg began coaching at the Prep in 2003.
David Schnitzer
David was a four year letter winner and team captain while at the Prep. David
was also a State Qualifier all four years in the backstroke events. He started coaching in 2006.
Kevin Carolan
Kevin was a four year letter winner and team captain at
the Prep. He graduated in 1989 and now coaches a USS team (New York City Aquatic Club) in New York City.
He started
coaching in 2006.
Matt Bobo
Mr. Bobo is a history teacher at the Prep and began coaching 1998 as the Prep
diving coach. Hailing from Toledo, Ohio Matthew attended Fordham University where he was a four year letterman and senior
captain of the Fordham University Swimming & Diving Team.
